A three-part class for anyone with no previous knowledge or who has a knowledge base and wants to learn more about this sacred opportunity and component of Jewish communal life. Why does the Hevra Kadisha exist? Why do volunteers come together to care for the deceased and comfort the living? What are the rituals? This class is a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge and connection to Jewish end-of-life practices, and will be taught by Sarit Wishnevski, Executive Director, Kavod v'Nichum, and Rabbi Jonathan Bernhard, Co-Founder of the Valley Chevra Kadisha in Greater Los Angeles.

There is no cost to participate, but registration is required. Sessions will be recorded and emailed to participants.

Please complete the form below to register. You will receive a confirmation email. The Zoom link will be emailed closer to the first session.
